             Thanks for helping us make              Bean Days a Huge Success!     One of the first items of business that the MIC conducted was the revamping and organizing committee for the annual Montpelier Bean Days.  A Montpelier Chamber of Commerce Event,  Bean Days has been an annual tradition in Montpelier for over 50 years...

This year Bean Days is being held in conjunction with the Antique Tractor Show at the Williams County Fairgrounds on the weekend of July 24th-26th, 2009 

Some of the events that will be held are as follows:

July 18, 2009

"Pride of Montpelier Pageant"  at Montpelier PK-12 school auditeria 6:30 PM.  Includes Miss, Little Miss, and Junior Miss Montpelier.  Directed by Rachel Gendron.

Thursday ~ July 23rd

Chicken BBQ 4-H Clubs- Veterans Building at the Fairgrounds.  Serving Lunch 11-1 and Dinner 4-until sold out.
 

Friday~ July 24th

Empire Street Kid's Fun~ from 4-7pm on Empire St @ Stage Wright Performance Center & Just Add Kidz

Battle of the Bands -located @ northeast side of Village Hall Bandstand Time is 5:00PM till 11:30PM with $1,000 Grand Prize!

Bucket Brigade at the fire station 7:00PM.  Youth and adult firemen's

Bean Days drawing $2,000 grand prize.  Tickets are $20 each. 
Fair Foundation Restaurant in Thaman Building open all weekend.

Custer's Cowboy Shoot in horse arena at fairgrounds.

Sidewalk sales with FREE BEANS at 5:00PM

St. Johns  ~ sausage sandwiches and St. Johns Women’s group-root beer

 Presbyterian Church fish fry.
 

Saturday~ July 25th 

 5K Walk/Run 7:15 am

Cruise-In at Broad and W. Washington   12:00 noon to 4:00PM
